Deals on Furniture offers delivery the day you need it. If you want to have it the same day no problem. See store for details as well as rates. We can be as negotiable as you need to customise your delivery needs. You may only need one extra set of hands to help you carry your furniture into your home. You may only need curbside service. You may just need the truck to back up to your door and you can do the rest. No matter your need: you tell us and we can make it work for you, when you want, and will adjust the price to fit your needs. You don't have to pay for more service than you need anymore.
Deals on Furniture offers you the option of taking your furniture with you. Depending on your purchase, you will be able to either load your furniture immediately or your pick-up will be scheduled later.
Shipping Policy
DELIVERIES:
A. Your furniture will be scheduled for delivery as it is received
into our showroom. If you are unable to
accept delivery of the items received, delivery will occur when the order is
complete. We will store your complete
order for 30 days at no charge. After 30
days, you will be charged 2% of your total order cost per month as a warehousing
fee for your furniture.
B. Please ensure that we have all of your available phone numbers so
that we can contact you for scheduling delivery. If we cannot reach you, we may leave a message
requesting a return call to schedule delivery.
If our attempts to contact you are unsuccessful, we will attempt to
deliver your furniture on the next delivery to your area.
C. When the delivery is scheduled, we will determine how the delivery
will be done. The delivery team is not
equipped to hang mirrors or art on walls or level furniture on carpet. Please have the space cleared for your
furniture. It is your responsibility to
note the size and dimensions of the furniture that you are having
delivered. Deals on Furniture will not
be responsible for furniture that is too large to go into a room, hallway,
doorway, entrance passage, or stairwell.
If it is difficult or impossible to place, maneuver, or fit a piece of
furniture by the delivery team due to conditions in your home, the consumer is
responsible for providing additional placement assistance. Deals on Furniture will not be responsible
for damage to your home that results from a request of us to attempt the
placement of furniture in difficult conditions.
Delivery personnel will require that you sign a waiver before any attempt
of such placement that risks damage to your home or the delivered furniture is
made. If placement in the requested area
is not possible, the delivery team will place your furniture in an accessible
area of your home. Furniture that you
have ordered that is too large to fit into your home is not the responsibility
of Deals on Furniture and does not entitle you to a return or cancel of the
order.
D. We cannot guarantee specific times for deliveries. Please arrange to have a designated person
available to inspect and accept delivery if you cannot be present. If no one is home when we attempt to deliver
on the scheduled date and time, you will be charged a re-delivery fee. We cannot be responsible if conditions beyond
our control arise which prevent the delivery from being made at the scheduled
time.
E. Delivery personnel are not responsible for the installation or
connection of electronic equipment in the furniture being delivered.
F. It is the consumer’s responsibility to inform us prior to delivery
if the delivery location cannot accept a specific delivery vehicle. Deliveries that cannot be made due to vehicle
size or access restriction will be billed as delivered. If delivery is possible with another vehicle,
re-delivery will be made and an additional delivery fee will be charged.
G. Delivery personnel are not expected, required, or paid to move
anything but the furniture being delivered.
Any request to move other furniture or equipment represents a private
contract outside of the responsibility of Deals on Furniture, and takes place
entirely between you and the delivery team.
DAMAGE:
Upon delivery, please
inspect your furniture thoroughly. In
the event of damage, please note it on the delivery order copy and notify
delivery personnel. Delivery teams are
trained to do minor touch-ups and repair.
Should a question arise, contact our management. If there is a question concerning quality
that cannot be resolved at the point of delivery, then only the item in
question will be returned to our showroom for thorough inspection. If the item does not reach manufacturer
standards, then it will either be repaired to meet standards or replaced. You will not be charged a re-delivery fee
unless the item being returned is determined to be up to manufacturer
standards. Issues that are not noted at
delivery will be reviewed under factory warranty guidelines. Normal wear and tear does not constitute
damage. Furthermore, all Warranty claims
are with the manufacturer only, handled through us.
DELIVERY CHARGE:
Delivery charges are in addition to the furniture cost. Delivery charges will be determined by the weight of the item and the distance required for delivery. Up stairs, down stairs, and freight elevator deliveries may require an additional charge. Other fees associated with the delivery (ferry charges, toll roads, etc.) will be at the consumer’s expense.
